Bronkhorstspruit Biogas Plant (Pty) Ltd

This project brings to Southern Africa a number of firsts and is being utilised by the South African government as a benchmark for future initiatives. It is the first industrial scale biogas project in South Africa, which has resulted in the first private off-taker of power (from an Independent Power Producer). Cape Dairy Biogas Plant (Pty) Ltd

This project is a replicate of the Bronkhorstspruit Biogas Project near Pretoria. As was the case for the Bronkhorstspruit project, the Cape Dairy project will be at the forefront of biogas projects in the Western Cape. It will make use of considerable volumes of waste that is currently posing an environmental problem on the site and in the vicinity of the plant. Read more
